ALL MOUNTAIN GOATS SONGS SHOULD HAVE IOWA BUGS IN THE BACKGROUND. I used to live next to a meth house in Iowa (in a town that John Darnielle used to live in), and this is pretty fucking dead on, though this song is about Pomona. I just posted this to every possible social network site because fuuuck. Gosh, the bugs, the subject matter, the time of year, this is giving me so many flashbacks to some long sweaty Iowa summers spent spying on our neighbors.
